Split Screen App Reviews

It is really awesome!

I have been using this app from a couple of months before. In general, I’m super happy to use! One drawback for this app is that if you are having dual monitor, the function may not work. For example, I’m using two monitors for my MacPro; but the shotcut is only works on major monitor. The function will not work for your secondary monitor. Second minor drawback is comparablity with other apps, especailly ‘Pararralles’. In Windows environments, copy and paste is ‘Control + C’ and ‘Control + V’. And whenever you wanna search your file in Windows, the shortcout key is ‘Control + F’ Some thoese keys are overlapped with This app default keys. You may have to change shortcut keys

Windows Snap on the best OS

When I switched from Windows 7 to Mac OS X, one of the only areas I preferred Windows was was the the ability to snap open windows to edges, split the scree, and enter full screen by simply dragging it quickly to the edge of the screen. While split-screen doesn’t utilitze the mouse, the quick keyboad shortcuts are just as easy to use and reallly meet the requirement of what I was missing. I have the application run on startup and never have to think about it again… until they ask me to write a review. :)

Simple and effective

SplitScreen does just what it says it will do. The advantage over the OS X version on the Mac is that it is much simpler: it’s easier to get into, adust the screen sizes and get out of; and it leaves your desktop dock and menu bar visible. It basically just does automatcially what you can do manually - have two open windows, each sized to half the screen.
